Domino's first steps on Canadian soil!!

Domino's journey had started some 20 Hours earlier when she left for the airport with Sophie's Mum and Dad at 05:30 UK time.  Sandra and Pete had to get her to the airport 4 hours before her flight time of 13:15 and drop her off at Air Canada Cargo, Heathrow, for which we were very grateful!  They paid the necessary fee of £864 and waved her off!

At 16:30 Calgary time (23:30 UK) Domino had landed and we went to Air Canada Cargo, Calgary, to collect the necessary documents, take them to customs back at the airport arrival hall, pay the Vet's fee of $30, then back to Cargo to collect Domino.  This all took about 1 hour before we were allowed into the warehouse to see Domino staring at us from her container (her home for the past 14 hours!!).  Sophie shed a tear as Domino looked at us, unimpressed, however a few treats later she came round!!  She was fine and we decided to take her to one of the local 'Off Leash' areas right next to Spruce Meadows for her to stretch her legs and enjoy all the new smells Calgary had to offer.

I'd say that looks like one happy Domino!!
